Best we can hope for?

I’ve heard talk that the best we can hope for is a Liberal minority and (pick one, two or three) NDP, BQ, GP holding the balance of power.
I look at it this way. A Liberal minority is like getting whacked in the head five times with a 2X4.
A Conservative minority (status quo) or majority (yikes) is like getting whacked in the head ten times with a 2X4.
I only prefer the first option because it’s less than the second, not because it’s an inherently different experience.
